Not support yet for Renault AES, only Hitag

All PSA , tool fail to read PIN code , Partner 2011 , 207 2008 .... by "on" / "of" method ( before last update working fine !!! ) .
finish job with THE best in the world F108+

2014 Nissan Qashqai j11 , fail to programming AES PROXI keys , just erase all key and f..K the customer car .
Learning fail ; no ignition no blink 5 time immo led

2 BEEP to start & long série of beep to end ! But never ignition
all other tool doing this 2 minute job

I know you are a experienced user but i think i already seen ok feedback on this car. Can you confirm why it fail was it anything pontual?

Shit I thought the xpad was good on Nissan. Read somewhere a few tools have trouble with Qashqai. Haven’t tried one yet and definitely won’t after reading this. Not good if off to dealership 😰

The Qashqai with some BSM models have problem with all tools

Some tools like Truecode will give you alert for this if they recognise these BSM models

its common knowledge that nissan have various bad bcm modules affecting qashqai j11 , xtrail t32 and rogue models using the prox key system , if you get one of these affected units then no tool can code new keys to it and will kill car , thus why so many avoid the qashqai j11 , xtrail t32 and rogue models with prox system , advanced diagnostics warn of 2 bad bcm serials not to attempt , truecode warns of 4 bad ones to avoid , even tdb warns of 2 on their wiki info, theres a thread on this forum on another one to avoid . theres also a few that some have succeeded and some have killed car , so these can be a lottery at best of times.
if an affected bcm then not even the dealer can code keys to car with dealer tool without killing it . this has been common knowledge for sometime now , with many threads over past few years on the matter on many forums and groups including this forum , with prox systems on these models its a lottery , you get lucky or you dont , plenty avoid them .

nissan are well aware of the issue as an internal bulletin was sent to all dealers warning them , but despite this they still charge 2k plus if a locksmith kills one , despite it being an issue in their bcm .

its easy to blame a tool , not so easy to blame ones self if the right checks were not made prior to attempting key programming . ad kit and truecode read the bcm serial prior to programming and warn you to walk away if one of the bad serials and have you click to confirm that you understand that if you proceed you do so at your own risk and cost if it goes wrong .

did you check bcm serial before proceeding to be certain it wasnt an affected unit as if it was an affected bcm then the fault is purely yours for not checking and of course nissans bad bcm units , and not your tools fault , its become far to easy to blame your tools , of course we dont yet know all the bad bcm units , 1 member here had one that was not listed that killed car , so we dont know all the bad ones yet and some are good sometimes and bad other times , thus why many avoid these .

those that like a gamble take a chance on them , and charge well , some get lucky and get paid , others get unlucky and must pay the stealer , i guess it comes down to do you do enough of these to make the ones you kill and the cost to fix worthwhile , if you do great , if not then leave them alone , we all like to blame someone but if an affected unit then blame yourself for not researching and checking or blame nissan and their known bad bcm units , but dont blame your tools because their an easy target as you would suffer same fate with dealer tool if an affected unit. but in some cases its just bad luck as a bcm serial that isnt known to be bad yet but again not the tools fault.

warn your customer of the issues , advise dealer , if they want you to proceed then get something in writting that you have made them aware of the risks and issues and they want you to try and they take full responsibility if shit hits fan , its not cast iron in court but may help , failing that learn which serials are bad , always check before proceeding and avoid models with affected bcm serial numbers or take the gamble knowing its on you if it goes bad..
