    Default 2009 Corsa D 1.3 Cdti Blowing Fuse 20 Fault Code P1625

    Hi All

I have a 2009 1.3 cdti that is blowing fuse 20 and showing fault code P1625

I have checked inside the ECU which had slight corrosion behind the large orange capacitors, I have cleaned this but the problem is still there

The only thing I have found out is that when injectors 1 and 4 are unplugged fuse 20 does not blow when cranking over the engine, if I connect either number 1 or number 4 injectors the fuse blows as soon as the engine turns over.

I've attached a picture to show the location of the corrosion

    Hi Rafal

I've checked the wires from the ECU to the fuse box and everything looks good

Fuse 20 only blows when injectors 1 and 4 is connected

If I disconnect 1 and 4 injectors and leave 2 and 3 connected the fuse does not blow and the engine tries fire up

Could the fault be in the ECU ?

    Hi Rafal

Is it possible to test any components in the ECU, I'm having difficulty locating a used 55568383 KZ ECU ?

Hello, check the wiring that starts from the control unit and arrives at the fuses ... in the background check the main power relay that if you short the power supplies could also make you this fault .... I am attaching the wiring diagram ... 1.jpg

i have a corsa ecu 55568383 kz . opcom tells me i have only 5.7 v from the main relay. checked it and the power to the ecu is 12v. so something in the ecu is dropping the voltage. tried a working ecu ,and it all works ok, opcom says 12v from the main relay.so the fault is not on the car or wiring?
car starts and runs for 5 ish seconds, then cuts out.

With the donor ecu the car works ok, right? (For 5 sec?) You still have errors?

Check if you have diesel in high pressure pump...

there are no errors with the donor ecu ,all works fine, and opcom shows 12v from the main relay
when i fit the original ecu ,it cuts out and only shows 5.7 v from the main relay
so i think it is a component fail in the ecu, as there is no sign of any damage
