Why don't you just use virgin file for SAM and adapt with star?

i don't have virgin file and i don't have star
i use ioterminal to read an write eeprom in 1 minute without open sam, and change vin with hexeditor, but i don't remember anymore the checksum procedure
is somethings like sum of vin numbers +20 or -60 in 3 or 4 bits after vin
