Check if pin 1 to 4 from Some eeprom are connected togeteher.

most newer ducatis have 24C512 soic 8. You can not tell anything from your pic. there are 5 chips that could be it that I can see from your pic

would 24c512 have any other markings, none of the chips have any close to 24c512 on them.

why don't you take close up pictures of the chips, here is picture of 24c512 on 1199 ducati

Could it be flash inside the big mcu? There are no more EPROMs under the LCD and here is a close up of all the ones on the board
