Alfa Romeo 159 EDC-16C39 Milage/Odometer (2.0 JTDM same as Giulietta)

Hello fellas!

I need to lower my milage, the car has already been tuned by Celtic tuning, and it runs GREAT!
Can I lower miles with MPPS 13, 16, 18 or 21? Or do I need to buy other things?
According to some people MPPS cannot write EEPROM for milage because I need BDM tool (I dont know what it is) - and some say I dont need BDM - who to believe?

I found a file here on DK with correct milage that I need for my car, is it possible to take that file and just read it onto ECU with MPPS or do I really need BDM?

Alternative: Can I just read and backup my old EEPROM-file (milage) with MPPS, and then insert the new file (downloaded here) with correct milage? Or do I need other hardware for this procedure?
