Finally I managed to get this! please bear the small file size because my ISP dosent support much greater speed of uopload so i had to break them into small pieces in orded to upload the files!! cheers!

downloaded this did the .ini file edit but can't get it to fire up or get it listed in the start menu, it tells me it is all installed and all the rest

error is as follows

"prosis service system application file has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

anyone any ideas?

is there something else you are supposed to do other than editing the .ini file

running Vista home premium but set up prosis to run on Service Pack 2 which is supposed to be the trick for running XP compatible software in a Vista environment

Hi

Just follow the next steps and you will make it run

1-Simple install the software
2-copy the Prosis.ini file from "Volvo PROSIS 4.1.010" directory to the place where you install it
3-finally copy all the folders that are in the "\Volvo PROSIS 4.1.010\Volvo PROSIS 4.1.010\INSTALL\40" (except the MC folder that you already have there) to the 40 directory of the instalation folder.
Example:"C:\Prosis40\40"
Any doubts just post and ask, i?ll try to help.

I have followed exactly the above instructions but the attached error keeps coming up any time I try to open up the program.

The reason may be because I am using Windows Vista but I have used 'Windows Comppatability Wizard' which is supposed to simulate Windows XP.

Has anyone come across the same problem as me with Prosis or do you have any suggestions? Do I just have to go and find a computer with XP?

I tried to run it on windows 7 64 bit and it would not run even in compatibility mode

Hello good days, I have discharged this prosis, I have decompressed it trouble-free, play the installer that you bring when decompressing. Himself I install in c: Prosis40, when I execute the prosis.exe in my team ( I have installed Windows 7 ) you make as if you thought about starting up the program but no window does not appear from the prosis, where I order the user and pasword. Please if somebody has any idea that I can make or to check would be very grateful.
