This inexpensive software developed by Kim Freding (xbyte) can read and write both the 24KB calibration data portion as well as the full 256KB portion which includes the program code section as well. It also corrects the checksums for the 24KB section automatically before it writes so there is no need for any other checksum correction software. It's also able to convert ECU families from MS41.0 to MS41.1 to MS41.2 and vice versa.

Would I be able to use the flash tool to download my DME maps and then compare it to the stock maps? I had the DME fixed and virginised, but I still get hunting at idling (I have fixed and repaired everything I could think of, so now I am back to the DME). I would like to see what was done to my DME when I sent it in for repairs.
