Your EEPROM is not faulty, it is only byte flipped. Maybe same with flash!? What is your problem with car???

Your flash looks good. But if you want you can try this. It´s from same software number here from dk, but different version. And rola is right. You should check for dtc and clear them. Or is ELV completly dead???

You must tell us the whole story to the car. Otherwise noone can help you. Did you change some parts (ECU and ELV or Gearbox)? When all parts are original from car, TCU doesnt need to be adapted. For adapting TCU you need to know the component security data of TCU. For example read out from ecu or elv from car, where the gearbox is from. You can adapt it with AVDI or VVDI.

Hi have read alot about the J518 module and what I have read from you posts you sound like an expert on this matter. I hope you could take the time and help me. I have Audi Q7 2007 that have the regular no ignition when I turn the key problem. I'm able to start the car if I use the Ross-tech software and clear the error. I have taken of the J518 module and changed the switches and the relay. I have tested the electrical motor and I works. Nothing of that fixes the problem. After this I used an Xprog to read out the eeprom and flash. I bought an secondhand J518 module with the same chip (it was from an A6) I transfered the eeprom and the flash to the new module and tested it it the car. Now the car is totaly black when I turn the key and after I put it in I can't take the key out. If I swap back to the old J518 I can remove the key like regular and if i clear the error code i can start the car like usual. What am I doing wrong or missing here? I thought it would be possible to clone my old J518 to an other working J518 and It would be plug and play? Am I wrong? Could it be the files that have been flipped? Do you have any other tips that I could try?

    Best Regards

Xprog should copy 9S12 1:1. Maybe you have poor clone ??
The easiest way to get rid of ELV is to cut red/black wire (3 pin connector) when ELV is unlocked and you dont have to bother it enymore...

OK I will try that but will that not generate a error code next time I put in the key and try to start the car? If I'll send you the dumps will you be able to see if they are right?

    Thanks

No, it will disable elv. Best solution for this problem.
