AUDI A6 ESL/ ELV J518 Module repair need

What does that red/black wire do? Do I just cut it after I have turned on the car and everything should just work? Will the steering lock still lock after this when I take out the key?

how did it work,did you cut the wire?

Hi mates,
I have audi a6 with problems. I changed ELV to donor one and I do immo off on ecu but car no start. Maybe original ee from elv is wrong but I dont how check it out. Is there a software or way to do it?
I saw on this you can check ee and flash from elv.

after turning the key in the ignition, does the lock unlock, ignition turns on or no reaction to the key ??
did you do EZS diagnostics?
connection to EZS via OBD is?

Hi mate,
Elv doesnt unlock after turn ignition on, starter doesnt work with key and only turn on the MMI screen.
ELV has communication on diag:
00185 - - elv problem
00288 - actuartor N360
00166 - problem on immo

What do you think where is the problem?
