hi m8 not sure if this could help but you can try...On the motherboard there should be a small jumper called Reset CMOS. Jump it and the password will default to "". (Blank)

Any chance you can help with mine? BIOS has been locked down by previous owner. I can boot, but not change settings.

I have been reading through this post, a lot of members have the same problem I am facing. When I power on my dell d630, it ask me the admin (bios) password. I saw genious solution here.
