Is this the password for the bios? It didn't work when I went to safe mode and used it as the administrators password.

yes its the master password for getting into BIOS
it is also initially the Admin password but once changed by user it will no longer work

Hello, i just bought an old Dell D620 but in the bios i can't change the bootsequence (i know i can press F12 at boot but prefer to make the bios setting)

And maybe i can also not flash my bios because of not having this password either?)
