Audi A3 (8P) Electric steering rack motor strip down- Anyone worked on these

Trying to remove the ECU unit off this A3 power steering unit (Power steering keeps dropping out- see pics)
Managed to get 3 of the 4 bolts out no problem, last one i had to drill out. The black plastic housing is free of the metal housing but seems to be secured somewhere at the end opposite the plugs, i just can't get it free. I'm not sure if it is just seized up or if theres something else i need to do to free it.

Anyone stripped one of these before, is the ECU even supposed to come off?

Any help appreciated, someone on here must have done this before.

Put it on a vice and swing a hammer at the black stuff
After a while you'll find some big ass pieces of iron that need desoldering... good luck with that..



Just download one from local scrapyard.....
