OBDstar X300 pro4 2013 MQB Continental cluster reading FAIL

I was not able to come to try it personally, but I connected with TeamViewer to the tablet and tried to do it while my friend recorded the eeprom reading attempt.
We tried with VVDI2 after this and it read it successfully. It was Continental cluster, so we assume that the latest update to VW software in OBDstar messed things up.

Does this key programmer also work when you do not have a valid subscription?
About 5 months ago I was successful with a proxy key for the 2018 Opel Insignia 2 and this week I failed for a 2019 Insignia 2!!!
I was successful with Autel in the end, I found the security code with OBDSTAR, however, Autel failed to find the security code...
I don't know what to believe, whether it's because the subscription is not valid or just a version bug???!!!
Have you had such surprises of not being successful outside the subscription and during its validity you were successful?

Its not the subscription, they simply ruined the device woth newer updates.
For example continental MQB adding keys was working perfectly fine, but it was broken about 4 5 months ago. When you try to read immo data it just goes back to previous menu...
Don't expect it to get better, I only paid for new updates to get moto immo functions...

I understand what you mean, but I'm telling you, buying new updates breaks things more than getting fixed. Better to invest in other tools atm.

On bench bcm can be reading,but readout data are not useable for Obdstar x300 dp

You need VVDI2 to finish the job
What you read with vvdi prog (flash+eprom) you use in VVDI2
Special function>BCM2 dump tool>Decode and save BCM2 immo data
Then Key learn>5th immo system>Make dealer key>Key learning and that's it

How did you go with this?
