Thanks Hil , It solved today , my device is not x300 dp but KEY MASTER DP PLUS green one , i get solution from obdstar support team they send me Diagprogram_V3.8.3.apk "downgraded" uninstall old and install provided .

Today i was trying to calibrate odometer on a 2016 opel/vauxhall astra K 2016 I can read mileage in km fine.
But it will not let me write the data back and correct the mileage
So it reads but wont write back
When i try to write back odo data all i receive is ECU negative response code 12 when trying to write mileage in km back.
Can anybody explain to me ecu negative response code 12 error
Can anybody provide me procedure/method for 2016 opel/vauxhall astra k 2016 odometer correction please.

X300 DP Plus failed on an Volvo S60 2016 non-keyless. After waiting for the timed access to finish (for 12 hours) it just spewed 'Login unsuccessful'.
But we had success on other non-keyless Volvo with similar years before. Maybe this one was something special.
It would have been nice to had an option to use the already saved backup dump of the CEM and allow direct programming....

As I see it this function is just the most stupid and evil function added. It is only for cheaters.
I am glad it doesn't work for you, and it should never be alowed to work. Glad they put it here-and-there.
Hope yourself buy such a car someday, and get real f...ed.
Even if I could, I would never go that low.... We help people get a working spare (and keep up uour rep.).
Hope you get a warranty-backslash-costly-refund on a broken engine cause of the belt broke.

OK, the dashboard of my car that has 38,000 km broke and I bought a used one with 190,000 km, should I leave it like that? Or do the odometer calibration work?
I can think of another option... how do I install a new board and leave it at 0km?


The owner of the car who is going to apply for that job that you mention and it makes him so angry should be judged... not the professional who does it.

hello everyone ....... I am very undecided on which key programmer to buy ...... I was thinking about obdstar key pro 4 but after reading this thread I have many doubts about future updates and assistance .....
any advice on this tool .... mainly i should make EU cars .......

Everything has its place obdstar is a good tool it has got me out of trouble a few times when nothing else work, but for Mercedes it's not good butt its is very good on Asian vehicles I guess it all depends on what you want to use it for and keep in mind that not one tools does everything I have advanced diagnostics I have smart Pro I have sbb I have nanocom I have vvdi key tool Plus I have obdstar I have Avdi original tango tmpro Orange five the list goes on how I wish I could buy one till that did everything it would make so much more room in my vehicle
