Hello to everybody!
I have OBDstar X300 Pro3. Something went wrong with My SDHC card. I lost all files from it. And I didn't make backup previously.
I intended to upgrade device from www.obdstar.com - but they demand Register password which I can get only after starting the device. And I can't start it without files!
What can I do? How can I get Register password? Or may be somebody of you have the image of this card?

hopefully obdprog is a spin off company from obdstar... else I would be more concerned about why they have released yet another whole range of tools under another name.

Continental BSI 2016 with AVDI - And another poor guy killed 2 with his SMOK in 1 week!

Continental BSI 2016 (and updated older ones 2010-2016) have to erase Flash 1st.

as p1et pointed out reading engine safer. Failed on 208 last week tho. And only goes upto approx 2016

don't buy this tool, i have bought one year ago and 95% of jobs don't do. also update cost tremendously for that it can do, cost 500 usd per year. i have full obdstar ( yello ) , and when expired updates, asked for price, told me 500 usd, i got a BIG HUMMER and break that tool, so now i have not anymore that toy, recently before i shatter that tool as a toy for my kids. AND MOST IMPORTANT IS THAT ALL REMOTE KEYS BROKEN WHEN RENEW KEY, CHIP RENEW BUT REMOVE DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE. i hope helped you guys.

i paid half that for updates recently

which version you have 300dp? dp plus??

it has done tons and tons and tons of jobs for me..........sometimes when the mvp could not nor the ikey820 or ck200 or fvdi or skp900 or the x100t or ...................

what did it fail on for you?

I think the prices of updates depends of which tool you got.
If you bought a cheap version the prices are lower. And if buying the more expensive tool like 1500USD. The prices are higher.
When I bought one of the OBDStar tools recently. I compared the prices of update. And found a price about 250-280USD, of the tool I choose. Which is OK.

The Autel IM608 / Aurodiag IM600 costs 1100USD for one year of subscription. That quite expensive.

Especially when have a good variety of tools.
And you always want to make updates, when you see there something new developed.
Then it starts to cost money.
