This car was a payment of my friend who own me some money. These pictures are from before, during and after the tune-up of the car.
This is a "low budget" project, so all the components replaced were purchased on sales, specials offers and some cases second hand parts.

    What I received.

First off all change the engine management to wideband ME7.5 ... or get yourself wideband AFR meter. Otherwise it's hard to optimaly tune ME3.8

So if I understand, I must use the AFR meter to check the optimal mix when I'm mapping?. (kepping ECU Bosch M 3.8.3)
I'm new in this of ECU tuning/mapping.

For a beginner, the petrol engine modifications are very difficult. Your old type of ecu must be done through the programmer. So it's better to find someone who has an OLS300 emulator and can do a good remap.

AGU ECU can be flashed with MPPS.
I think finding someone with OLS300 in Panama is very close to "impossible"

    Thanks for the information .
    I was researching and found than my specific ECU part number (Bosch M 3.8.3, Audi/VW Part # *06A906018CG- 0 261 206 518 - Bosch M3.8.3 - OBDII not CAN - 1.8L R4/5VT MOTR HS D02 - German made 2002 VW Golf GTI 4 doors 1.8T AGU engine ) could be tuned through the OBD2 port.

I have VAS 5054a tool, it will work with the MPPS?. Any of you eared or know something about this?.
