    Default help with BMW

    hi guys I want some help who know how I can change or write new VIN to used ( second hand ) ECU

    any ideas will be useful
    I use DIS and progman with OPPS and GT1 head and in few week I will buy ICOM A+B+C

    anyone have any idea about those device if can do what I'm looking for

    Hey did you buy the ICOM?
    A B, and C?
    Is the 3G ISIS up and working?
    I think NOT!

    just typed war and peace out then realised you put ECU not cluster !!!

    I HAVE BMW ORIGINAL ICOM A, B, C PLUS THE NEW CABLE KIT, ALSO HAVING ISIS SETUP DVD KIT, SERVER READY, WAITING FOR SOFTWARE LOAD.

    USE NCEXPERTEN SOFTWARE. WILL WRITE VIN AND ODOMETER, BUT U CAN'T CHANGE VIN IN INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.

    INPA wont write new VIN in MSS or newer EDC16+. You should read with BDM and change. If its just VIN then its in ASCII.

    In cluster VIN is hidden as HEX value and NOT as ASCII. newer models have VIN as ASCII value
