Oh, and I also have Autel maxisys mini scanner.

What tool do I need to reprogram / clone this ECU ? Without desoldering the mcu chip

YOU HAVE TO PROGRAM THE KEY TO THE NEW ECU THEN CHANGE THE VIN
YOUR AUTEL SHOULD DO THAT IF IT HAS THE IMMO FUNCTION

I can't seem to be able to do it on 2015-up model Rogue. New immo type.
I was able to do it on 13-14 rogues,4dig pin.

Same exact situation as original poster.
Replacement ECM has a comm code, rest of modules don't. Original is crashed.
    Key programming does not help.
Autel agrees to program only a new replacement ECM, not used.
    Puzzled....
    What tools to use?
I Wanna try ners but don't think it'll sync used to the car ... The newer the worse

Easiest way is to find a locksmith who has the right programmer and program the immo.
Autel and launch won't do this for sure. Autel CANNOT program new ECU unless they are talking about j2534. But the immo will still NOT work.

    OR

You can swap renesas chip R5f72531 but it's not easy.

Check your fuses and if they are good. Check your can lines for short to ground or water intrusion and also maybe animals chew thru wiring.. They are not difficult to check can lines.. I usually check at the ipdm fro t fuse box... If you have no communication usually fans turn on as soon as you turn ignition on...

    @alex_r

I have 2017 Rogue, damaged original ECU, got the exact donor, switched R5F72531 and S25A32 from original into donor. No luck, car doesn't start, when I turn on the ignition fans turn on, immo light is blinking. You suggest that that there is no comunication due to wires or fuses? If it would 'see' the ECU it would not turn on the fans?

With the tips of alex_r I've found the cause - blown fuses. Switching R5F72531 and S25A32 from original into donor starts the car again.
