Default Seat ibiza 1.6 tdi Egr problem code P0407

Hi, a friend of mine has a problem with the egr of his ibiza.

VCDS showed error code P0407 Potenciometer- signal too low.

Does somebody knows if I delete egr with swiftec solution the problem will be solved?

Or it does need a new egr cooler?

I ask this because he lives a couple of hours away and don't want that he comes for nothing.

    Thanks in advance

The egr works ok during a certain time.
Specified and actual value are almost the same all time.
But after a few minutes when the car is cold it goes into limp mode with that error code p0470 potentiometer- signal to low.

I will try to read it in these days and post the file.

    Thanks for your help

If the problem is the electric engine ( doesnt work ) that moves the gears, the only solution is a new egr?
