Worried that my eurovox 5100pvr won't work in york

Been Reading a few post on here and alot say the eurovox aren't working in the leeds area! is this true and will it be like this in york? also is there anything i can do so i dont have all these problems when i set mine up on xmas day!

M8, VM have rolled out new encryption system in Leeds lately and all these secondary boxes are now dead. VM will prob continue the attack area by area until the whole country has been covered by the new encryption.
There is no fix for this new system and if your area has been hit then your box will be dead for sure.
Dont hold your breath on a fix.
You will know when its your turn, when you receive new card for your legit box and then it will be a matter of a couple of weeks before your box goes blank!

That's typical i have received my new card 2 weeks ago, i have not put it in yet as i am getting it for xmas off my wife as a present. so will that mean all my channels on my eurovox will not work? i cant beleave my wife has bought me this and now it's not going to work. I so hope there will be a fix b4 Xmas. is it possible?

If you have received a new card for your legit box then its only a matter of short time before the eurovox goes blank.
There is NO fix and defo not before xmas!

Thanks. What should i do as the eurovox 5100 pvr which my wifebought for me has not even been open yet? should i send it back as i wont be able to use it? thanks for you time

YES m8, dont bother opening it, try and return the box for a refund as by xmas it may be useless.
