Question Astra H (07) replacement CIM

    hello all,
my astra H CIM moduel has failed from not sensing a turn all the way to showing squib flouts on the airbag,

After hours of tinkering i got a opcom and found out it was the Cim so i ordered a second hand one online, it has arrived but has not been cleared so im unable to program it because i dont have its security code, i have seen some of you talking about getting the eeprom do i need to get another peace of kit to do that or is it just time to bight the bullet and let a garage do it?

as so far on this car i have had to change the gearbox, clutch, filters and now got useless CIM what clears by airbag fouls and works but cant program it so that ££ down the drain at the moment.

    thanks
    Gaz
