Default Eurovox EX6000 Nov 25th Update

    EX6000SD Nov 25th release

Just a couple of cosmetic changes,

    1) "FAV Key" function added - Pressing FAV key while in Fav Channel List moves forward thru categorys, same as RIGHT key press.

    2) "Recording File Name format" changed to Event Name/Date/Channel Name.

You may want to upload your NDF file list to USB before flashing.

There are 3 ways to load this firmware:

    1) Put the KURO2.stb file on the root of a USB drive and insert into box, the box should detect the firmware and update automatically

    2) If it does not auto-load, press Menu, then from UTILS "Download", enter the PIN (0000), select the file and Press OK to load..

    3) Use the RS232 loader with the box connected to a PC with a null-modem cable

Do a factory reset and then scan for channels or load your NDF.

Have you checked what format the usb stick is in i.e fat32,ntfs and what format the eurovox will pick up?
I'm not aware of this box but strike's me that the box isn't picking up your file.

Hi, new to this. It is still worth getting a Eurovox or will it soon not be worth it due to new encryption methods from the cable companies?
