Default Steering problem's Clio III 2006

    Hi friends

I have problem with a Clio III 2006, sometimes the steering doesn't work.
By clip diagnostic it appears the following dtcs:
    DF054 - sensor de binário
    DF038 - Sendor de ângulo

If I replace onle the motor part can I solve the problem? Or do I need to replace the all set (ecu+motor part)?

    Best regards

If its only "sometime" i would go to battery first. Test it under load.

if this happens only in the beginning it can be either the battery or the capacitors. otherwise you may have a problem with the eps group motor hall sensors. otherwise there is the possibility that it has resistsze and unshackled SMD capacitors.

Hi! I had a similar situation with my Renault Lodgy . Spent a lot of time thinking the problem could be solved easier. But ultimately had to replace with another one and program, as written above.
