Default Defender 2013 lost synch remotes

    Hello guys,

    I need to visit a Defender, 2013 2200td 122hp.

It had not been driven for a while, causing the battery power to drop.
After recharging the battery, the car does not respond to its remotes anymore. (2 are present)

There will be a black remote receiver.
    And a sid208 conti ecu.

How can i resynch the remotes?

Not so many of these, where i life, so info and tips are welcome.

    Greetings Rob

No communicatie with this immo unit.
Sdd and launch both fail to connect to it.
Central locking still works, when we turn key in door.
Led constant red. Ign on or off, led stays red.
    Both remotes send ok signal.
    ch12-15k600-bc

    Fuses look fine.

Owner opened car, with doorlock key.
Alarm when off, and did not stop. Until it completely draint the battery.

Recharged battery, alarm is not active anymore.

the ignition must be off when trying resynch , you could try

remove the battery from the key
press and hold down both buttons to make sure key is totally drained of power
    put battery back in key
press lock button 4 times quickly then unlock button once

ive had this work after entering eka code in past .

    I wrote, no communication.
So no eka reading, and no eka input is possible.

I will read the unit, with a programmer.
Perhaps someone can repair the data.

Sdd does connect to the car. Jlrsdd, not sbb
All modules are visible. Except this immo unit.
I have mvp, and read some Rovers, and Landrovers.
I did not bring it allong.

I have taken the immo module.
If i can wire it up, i could try that.

Read a few posts, all say, eka input, and eka reading is not possible in this state.

Led is constant red, ign on and off.
If alarm would sound, then i could communicated.

    Defender 10AS.rar

Is there a service, that can provide this? Or do we need to request it, from a dealer?
I attached the eeprom and flash.

    vvdiprog connection.jpg

And here is another post. With exact same problem, and flash is 100%match.
Making me think, that the flash is still ok.

I used a mongoose cable. With jlrsdd. I did not connect to the immounit.
Perhaps not the best for these.
Obd pin 8 should connect direct to the immounit.
    ISO9141 protocol.

Perhaps, not the best mongoose cable.
    Or no comm is normal?

Just repair one remote week ago and doesn't work, so i sync like:

    Pull out batterie
Press any button for 3 secondes
Come nearest the driver door (all doors close without locked)
Put the remote to the dash direction and press quickly the first button more than 4 times.
    Lock should react to confirm.

    Remote is Lucas 2 buttons.

I know about the remote re-synch.

That will not work when the car itself drained its battery.
Some call it a brown out.
Causing the immo module to shut down.

Not even the eka code will work.

    Many have had this problem.
A few companys offer a solution. Discribing the symptoms, i posted.
They need the immo module, and fobs.
    Not the ecu.
So they have a way to recover the data.

Nobody on D.K. seems to know how this is done, or is willing to share.
And no healty dumps, to test either,,

    Happy new year guys

Rob if I was on your place

1 will try to read the EKA by OBD with MVP as I know that this tool can read it (to be sure that there is or not comunication by OBD)

2 if I can't read the code I will buy code as Rapid told you to try to start emergency (If don't have comunication by OBD but you can start emergency means some wiring problems)

3 will buy second hand unit to read it and compare (also to check if I had comunication or not by OBD with the new one)

4 will try to adapt this new unit if you have comunication with SDD

5 will send it if for repair or will buy used ECU kit depend on the price
