In my are there are guys who know lots of stuff and all of those guys know each other and everybody does things for basically the same prices, except for digiwigi masters .
I have a simple rule, if after 4-5 years of this bizz or anyother business you can't sleep at night knowing your bills are paid, pay for updates, tools & save a little money.
Then you are either too cheap, in the wrong bizz or both.
