    I think once this fault was due to a faulty column module or steering angle sensor. Try disconnect and take a testdrive and clear code after.
    I think this code only clears after a testdrive over 40 km/h or something

    Cant remember exactly, but worth a try.

    No, this fault indicates fault in the module itself.
    Hell knows what is wrong with it, there are som many components inside.
    Replacing the module sovles the problem but it would be interesting to know what's exactly wrong with it and how to repair it.
    I can calculate ABS module codings for:
    * Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
    * TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
    * MK100
    ;
    * Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
    * EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
    *
    ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.

    Hi guys
    i think if maybe sumarization on which type modules this type dtc 01130 is recognized. I mean on which types original vag numbers this ABS modules and in advcance on which types modules which have been from original version sw upgraded and modules is still recognized with this dtc code. Ofcourse i mean if hw version pcb from module is too very important.
    So maybe hell knows what is wrong with it, but we may trying decipher it with right information. Please everybody may write here which version module have with that unknown issue, it may help for solution how it repair or which modules is safe and which unsafe
    in case when swaping module to another one.

    Hi pawl
    please how common recommendation from wiki rosstech may help with this still unknown issue? So but i too suspect this modules if main reason for that type dtc issue is some problem about internal power suplying ABS module, because i dont know how is possible having electrical interference from external sources like high frequency radiation (e.g. non-insulated ignition cable) on diesel engie etc.

    had this once and it was a rear wheel sensor that was corroded/dirty they require replacing and adapting by either truning the wheel left and right for a few seconds and driving in a straight line, this fault came on after the battery was disconnected ! i got the info off a ross tech site and it doesnt throw a fault code for the rear sensor but when inspected there was a crack in the reluctor/bearing cover these can be bought sperate. i really couldnt believe that the signal you have is saying implausable whecj means its not seeing some thing it should. hope this helps

    Hi
    thats what u write int this case for DTC 01130. I have here now skoda superb 2g facelifted my11 and this car had this ABS issue with DTC 01130. But symptoms which starts that issue in ABS module is absolutely other. ABS/ESP normally working, no DTC is recognized when you braking "normally", untill when driving dynamically and then braking agresively - this is deciding factor which starts after some time stop working ABS/ESP module with DTC 01130. But dont stop run ABS immediately when use brakes, some time it work and ABS/ESP stabilize brake, but after 1 or 1 and half second stop work, set up control lamp ABS + ESP + hand brake on instrument cluster and dont work next time, BUT until u close ignition. But if once again ignition is turn on, ABS + ESP + hand brake dont signalize any malfunction on instrument cluster and voila ABS/ESP run again normally without any problem. Ofcourse only until time when again use brakes agressively and then all happen again. So, this is my main reason why i suspect this modules if main reason for that type dtc issue is some problem about internal power suplying ABS module, because ofcourse every fuses, wires, gnd points and connectors are in right state.

    If u have a hotair station u may try it, anyway currently modul dont work. Next question is on how temperature flow it wih hotair a which use solder flux. I think if about 300°C for procesors balls is good way and i for every flow or reflow cases use flux stannol rma-04, i mean if thats right, resoldering with this type flux going very well.
