Default I need you help really really bad! Please help

    Ok, so I have a modded 360.

Basically, I havnt been able to play any of the latest games, like MW2 and Dragon Age Origins - I get the ''Cant Play DVD/Cant Play Media'' message.

So I've been doing some research and it looks like I have to update the firmware or something to play these ''wave 4'' games....

The only trouble is I have no idea how to update, or what I should look at... Someone else had modded my 360 for me... So I have no idea what to do.

Please help by giving me a step by step procedure in order to get the latest update so I can play the wave 4 games. I need you all to hold my hand through this , I have no idea what to do.

What make of drive do you have in the 360.

If you get the DVD message it must be older firmware.

If you cannot update the drive yourself or get anyone to do it you will have to patch the games back to a previous wav. It is advised not to go online with these games once they have been patched.

    Have a read here.

    Its the Liteon drive

I opened the faceplate and put a light through the hole and saw 2 yellow wires, so I'm pretty sure its the liteon.

Yeah, I dont go online with the 360, I use mine purely for offline purposes. I'll give this a shot, thank you so much. Will update you on how this goes.

Edit- Nope, I followed an invalid link, it doesnt exist.

Edit - I found another link for it ... I'm downloading it now, so after it does.. I'll update you...But its just the program... I dont have the tutorial for it .... Any help for that would be hot.

Argh, hopefully this works ... Just got MW2 and DA:Origins, and I desperately need to play them.

Ok, so I downloaded the thing CGScott talked about and I'm having problems .. In the tutorial, it talks about putting in the ISO file of the game.... How do I access it?? I didnt download my game, I bought the copy game from a shop.

If its a copy download image burn and create iso from the disk itself.

    IMG burn here

    The Official ImgBurn Website

    Ok thanks.

Doing that now, what about the PFI file, how do I take that out... Does it come when I create an ISO file out from the copy game that I already have?

Well, from the looks of it I manage to get the ISO file off the CD and everything runs smoothly, untill I get to the part where I have to insert the PFI file.

Another question - When using ABGX360, in the part where it says ''Input'' do I click ''Files'' or ''Burned DVD'' - You know, because I didnt download the game, I bought it from a shop so its a DVD already.

    Guys guys!!

It works, I used the other method, where I use IMG burn to burn an Active ISO file to a dual layer dvd... And it works!!! I can play the games ... I'm so happy, I could shed a tear . Thank you all so much!!

But few other questions.. IS this is a permenant fix? or short term..what happens when wave 5 games come out? ... can i still play wave 3-2 and 1 games on this??
