You need to run it on windows xp. Do you know how to setup virtual box?
Can anyone help me sort a problem out with Tech2Win. I have it installed on a Lenovo i3 Laptop running Windows 10 Pro
Using a Genuine MDI as Passthrough Interface. When i connect to the Caqr and start to run any diagnostic process the screen goes blank and Tech2Win just shuts down.
Interface is good as it runs OK on same PC with a Genuine paid for GDS Subscription.
If anyone can Team Viewer in to sort this i am happy to pay.

I am exactly in the same boat...
Spent a few days couple weeks ago, installing tech2 win, gds2 and global tis...
Got everything opening and working on the bench...
Today, for the first time after had everything set up, a Corsa D came to me as a non runner...
And when I tried to use my new set up for the first time the MDI laptop, was presented with this...
More details in the description of the video...
Does anyone knows what is the causing for this?
Hit Thanks if helped you!

SORTED!!!!!
Uninstalled tech2win and re-installed it did the trick...
I have not yet tested it on the a car, but on the bench does not shut down... which was doing before... (Never though a lot about it at the time, thinking would need to see the car in order to work...)
So, looks good know...
If you don't hear from me, this was my solution...
Thank you all...

I had the same problem and only found 2 way out of this problem. The first is to reinstall tech2win and reinstall it. This method did not help me, but I know a bunch of people who fixed this error in this way. There is also 2 way, which is more complicated, but it will definitely fix this error. You will need to completely clear the hard drive from the operating system, and install a new Windows 10 Pro. Also, I would like to advise you to install WINDOWS PRO N, because it was created exclusively for work and is optimized for a work atmosphere. But if you are going to use a computer at home, then this Windows will not work for you, because there is no audio player there.
