Hi
Best is read the file with Kess as you’ve mentioned
Upload the file on here and someone will delete it for you and upload back
So all you’ve to do reprogramming back
Your stage 1 Mapp still be there

I have a jumbo transit 2007 2.4 with the egr removed and blanking kit installed.
Failed the last MOT due to power train codes relating to the egr being removed.
I need to fully remove the egr from the ecu.
I have several options to try but with no experience with the transits ecu I would like some reassurance before wasting time...
Hoping to use an obd option rather than a bench flash.
i have a copy of EGR PRO Remover, but isit compatible with the visteon ecu ?
i have a kess v2 and willing to find and edit the EGR values, but I’m hoping someone already has the HEX values I should be looking for? (Or will the egr pro remover software automatically find generic egr values and remove?)
i don’t want to remove and be left with New/other codes relating to the egr.
i believe the current file on the van is a stage 1 remap by a local business but not sure will have to check against a untouch version.
Any help on the mk7 2007 2.4 transit EGR would be appreciated.
considering a cheap bundle of ford files on eBay but I doubt it will give me the information I want.
Thanks

thanks for your reply
i will upload a copy of the current file tomorrow, fingers crossed someone can help.
Do you know if the egr remover tool or similar like ecusafe just find generic values for the fault codes and remove? Or am I missing something more specific to the Ford/ecu?
Any info would be great
