I'm obviously doing something wrong with POIEdit as the file it exports doesn't work.

Any tips on what file type it shoudl be for a Garmin Nuvi?

Having used both, I have to say that the database from pocketgpsworld is a lot better than tomtom's. Always up to date.

But you won't find any of theirs free on the internet..
