code for radio VW RCD300 needed

Hi
When I try to read / write the 24c32 eeprom with PonyProg, I see the message "Missing Device".
I checked all the connections and these are ok.
Is the eeprom likely to be defective?

Very unlikely, check com port and make sure chip is free from flux

I used exactly the same steps for reading / writing the eeprom as in my posts above and then it worked smoothly in my first attempt.
Does "ERROR 02" refer to eeprom problems?

Check components near 24с32. Maybe you broke something when I removed the EEPROM.

I used these methods for the first time in my life and worked from the first try.
Is it the luck of the beginner?
Anyway this is my third attempt and it's over with luck ...
