Default Citroen C5 2003 mileage correction BSI+ dash, opinions...

Jaeger dashboard and Sagem BSI. I was stuck to complete the correction as the Digiprog 3 (clone) does nothing with the dashboard, however read and write the BSI. I was looking the right tool to do the dashboard. According to the warning in the relevant section of NYO if I apply 12V to the cluster while it is out of the car that will erase the MCU. If I'm right, that is what I just need because as soon I assemble it the BSI will overwrite the dash and that's it. Is there anyone tried this yet? Any comment on this theory would be much appreciated.

Thanks, I just waiting for my UPA to arrive with snail mail, I wasn't sure if CArprog can do it or not so I ended up to order it. However the "self reset" theory doesn't work. I had two attempt. When the dash got external power it shows zeros but doesn't seem to changes anything in the MCU.

Cheers mate, the UPA is original. I don't think even original digiprog would work via plug on this car.... Anyway I have to wait until arrives...

Upa work like charm... well 50%. I have a spare dashboard, just in case. I tried that first and did not worked. I almost chucked away, but luckily I tried on the dashboard from the car. Anyway mission complete...
