Hi mates,
I´m starting to work with bmw cars and I´m reading CAS by smok or vvdiprog but my question is if I can read it by canbus on bench without solders?
I´m triying to cummunicate by original AVDI but I cant. Perharps I´m doing something wrong. Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance
You havent said anything about pins used. Why dont you go into detail on what you have tried and isnt working, then people can say what you are doing wrong. Right now it looks like you havent tried, or said much.
You are right. Here pinout I used. I tried CANBUS on 3 & 11 and 6 & 14 but no good lock. What do you think?
Thanks in advance
do you have power/ground going to both OBD and CAS or just CAS

I have pinout of dme(MEV17.2) and CAS3. The problem is I cant communicate with cas but with dme I can directly. What do you think?
I use this pinout:
35 CAN High 100
26 CAN Low 100
1&21&19 +12V
25&12 GND
I tried to connect canbus on obd2 plug 14 L & 6 H and 11 L & 3 H but no good lock. Am I in good way or not?
Done. Thanks

Hi Alclot ,
for dummy like me, I connect cas2 by your picture, what next coding tool you used ? I got avdi2018 ftdi package, I try flyobd tag - no, I try abrites bmw , choose kwp 100 body and after in special functions key coding, but problem comes - no cas detected. Could you give us some description about your succesfull coding? thank you
