ford mondeo 52 plate diesel car broke down would not start turned out to be cam senser now the fuel gauge dont work tried sender new one still nowt any sugestions is it controlled through ecu can i read it

cant rember how, think button down, ign ford crap have a self test feature of clocks, think it will show 50 meaning 50 litres etc, have a look

Hi

To test the Ford Instrument

1) Press and hold Trip button...........

2) Put Ignition ON when you see Letter TEST on disply let go the trip button...........

3) You will see Instrument will activate it self all the lights and Gauges if its in GOOD CONDITION.

4) If it does not activate that means the Instrument is faulty ......DEAD KAPUT

You can get it replaced from Dealers for ?100 + VAT thats including fitting and reprograming.
