    Default smart pro replacement tool

Hello, i buyed a Smart Pro additionally to my Abrites VAG+BMW & VVDI MB Tool.

Like you know, the Smart Pro is full with bugs at this time..

Think it takes up to 6 Month to fixed the bugs..

Now i search a replacment tool for the Smart Pro for this time...

I know Zedfull and VVDI 2 but its to expensive for me now. Iam at the beginning and the smart pro will working soon, i hope..

What is a cheap but usefull tool?

    Greetings.

lonsdor k518 , obdstar x300dp will do alot at a low price , im600 looks interesting too.

you cant go wrong with truecode original and tdb1000 units if the coverage suits your needs , and g scan tab is a useful kit for asian cars especially kia and hyundai

plenty sharing your pain with smart pro at present .

Depending on what cars you work on.
There are some cheap Chinese tools, and good clones.
Obdstar does do many brands, but has plenty off fails.
io terminal is realy realy good, on opel psa and fiat.
Fvdi full 2014, 100euros now, great tool.

Thank you. FVDI is very intressting, but I have often heared that you have a high risk of damaging things.

How do you deal with the risk to damaging something?

If you lived in the USA I would say AutoProPad would work for you. Even if no one here use it the USA market is growing strong.

I use the hell out of my AutoProPad. Haven't had to use advanced diagnostic MVPP since I got the APP.

Dont bother buying Pro. Worst piece of s**t I ever seen. It fails on 90% of cars. Unless you doing Fords only

in fairness on ford it is very good , old honda is good still but then that is on most token free china units too .

there still exists alot of anger and upset of the refusal to extend utp on smart pro , the distributor claims 80% is working , feedback and results paints a very different picture , the expectation of extended utp by many was ridiculed as just wanting free key programming , so the arrogance and the contempt shown has alienated some further .

smart pro improves weekly , but is still a long way off being as reliable as mvp pro and ad100 pro , yet is still advertised as the bells and whistles upgrade which it clearly is not , hang on to your old unit and save your money for now , its still a work in progress , it will get there , but when is anyones guess , its been a disastrous release .

Smart Pro is a joke. The thing that they can't convert working software from MVP to a new tablet is just ridiculous. Plus it doesn't have anything new which MVP Pro does not have - beside Volvo. And they want so much money for it and exchange offer is a biggest joke.
