Orange 5 programmer

Hello friends

I want to ask for experience with orange 5. I'm interested to read and write motorola mc9s12 in correct way. I have xprog but this tools damage this type of mcu when you try to read and write in flash mode. So how work orange 5 with this mcu and other mcu ? It is good tool to buy from ebay ???

I have this programer and he is the best but read only mcu 912, he not read 9s12. I use him to hc05 hc08 hc11, tms and other. For me this is the best programer which I have and I have 10 maybe more.

For example for motorola 1L15Y (MC9S12XDP512) can this tool read and write without problem ?????

Orange 5 clone. 1k79x 9s12h256. Without any problem.

But need remember.. the best to stable programmer is connect 5V 1A to external dc socket...
without this Programmer was powered think 4.5v and finnaly was problem with recognize Chip.

Have you tried to read and write flash memory from this MCU family. And if you read how is the memory of the flash because when i read flash with xprog the memory from reading is 2MB to big and it is not correct

This programer read 9s12 but only unsecure, people not buy this tool to read unsecure mcu 9s12. To sec 9s12 better buy j-tag by smok, vvdi prog, upa-s, xprog genuine. Orange 5 is the best to old mcu

So this 9s12h256. Xprog reafd flash 2mb and eeprom 4kb i think...... orange 5 read flash 256kb and eeprom 4kb

So orange 5 read this flash 256kb, and have you tried is correct ? Have you tried to write you havent problem with writing and with ECU after writing

yes was 256kb file, i read and flash xouple of time the same odometer and works fine.
Just what i said before. The best is connect 5v 1a external power to programmer to stable voltage
