    Default MSV70 cloning question

    Hi

Got a 325i 2006 manual transmission ecu with water damage..

    7 559 178
    Dme MSV70
    5WK98081

I've found a replacement ecu with matching numbers but it's from an automatic transmission. My question is will this ecu be compatible? If i clone all data from original with it then become manual transmission or is there a HW difference aswell?

    Thanks

So hw is the same. Even though 1 ecu is manual transmission and the other is from automatic? Cloning Sw will convert automatic to manual transmission?
