    Default 535D DPF Removal (EDC16)

    Hi All

Just after a little info, to remove my DPF and EGR would I need to do a full BDM flash or can it be done in the car? If it can be done in the car what is the best software to use?

Is the idea behind the BDM flash to modify checksums similar to the full 512 flash for the ms43 ecu in E39's etc?

    Much appreciated.

I bought Kess and read the ECU partially and fully, apparently (both files 2048kB). Could anyone remove the DPF and EGR? Do I need to modify any checksums etc befor flashing back onto the car?

    much appreciated

Your kess will calculate the checksum and correct it before it starts to write...
