Thanks, was a nice thought. I think i mentioned something to Admin
the other day, but no idea if it got pinned to the DK Admin notice board
or used for a e-mail areoplane.

It said sent, but have had DK eat messages to Admin before - or just get ignored

It would be nice to think of a way to share software, amongst members without causing any risk to DK. I'm thinking............

That is not going to happen there is NO SUCH THING as a site better than DK - it's is the worlds bests site.

Did see some 'inferior' site* has it's servers based where that Eureka Johnson bird somes from sweden or somewhere

I was thinking of something a bit simpler, but possibly less practicle.
You see, all we're sharing is links. The links being related to whatever server
is being used to store the software.
Outwith forums, we can exchange these links by email - that is completely unrestricted!

If we could think of a way to manage members within DK, who want to exchange
notepad files containing links outwith DK then that might be the answer.
As I say, still thinking of a method that would be suitable for managing this.
The emphasis being that conversations within email is outwith DK.
I've not properly thought it through, but any suggestions?

Just a thought, what about opening an email account like Gmail with a 7-8 gig storage and give trusted people the password to post their links etc

Need to find somewhere without public access,
just somewhere that can contain Folders of pages with "Links" on..

maybe an ftp site which certain members ie someone who donates to the site,or vips etc etc can only access it,then each member
has they own personal log in details to the ftp,that way no one could pass the main details to log in to the ftp
