Read the info upload to server and then received mesage that can't calculate the immo data - I tried 2 times and then finish the job with Autel

Why hopefully?

It will severely limit MQB, virtual dash, Johnson dash etc

Only dealer key with Odis so not good news

Rumour is VW will be shut soon

This will affect all tools I think like AVDI, Autel etc

JLR and the likes will follow suit so snides even very expensive snides might be paperweights in the near future

Heard they’ve employed an approval department to approve any applications to go onto their server. Looks like they mean business but time will tell

Vag group are changing systems from 2020 > vehicles (ie mk8 Golf and new models) ALL programming /coding functions on these vehicle require unlocking from VW server by token based authorisation
so ALL tools on newer Vag are going to have problems in future. Only basic DTC`s etc are allowed without Vag Authorisation
