Default [EDC15] Beginner. How much percent to increase map?

Hello there. Firstly sorry for my bad English. I'm trying to learn how chip tuning works. I've started from EDC15. I have golf 4 ECU original and mod. I have found maps, now I have a question.

Looks like this is drivers wish map. If I haven't got mod file, how do I know how much percent should I increase every value? In this case increation value is 153 <- How can I guess? Should I increase by absolute value, or by percent?

    Same with torque limiter map:

Are there any math formulas to calculate that 228 value?

P.S I have read vagecumap and EDC15 v1.3 tuning guides.. Anyway looking for better explanation. Thanks in advance and have a good day

P.S.S I do not need professional tuning. At least some hp, ~5-10.. To not to destroy my engine.

use winols if you need more, you need help but you upload to small picture and I not see what value you have. This engine it's hard, it could work in a tractor.
