    hiya i have an old sky dish and want to get a new dish, does anyone know what size i could get for north ireland and does size matter ie if i get to big would that be as back as getting one to small and help would be great thanks all

    Hi. Dish size is like having a bank account..the bigger the better. .... As already pointed out it depends on what youre after and will it be motorized etc etc

    Zone 2 60cm would be better allows for a better rain fade margin

    Default Min Dish Size

    Hi,
    Can anyone help me with the minimum dish size I will need to use 3 LNB's to get Astra 29, Astra 19 and Hotbird in the SE.

    80cm minimum but if you want to play safe with rain margin a TD88

    Just wondering can windy weather make my premium channels scramble I've only got a bog standard sly dish cheers

    It would make them lose signal if the wind is strong enough, As for the Scrambling part well that could be something entirely different. get your Dish checked out first and even your box

    Depending on your receiver, when signal is lost , it CAN/MAY say 'Scrambled channel'. I know this from my own experiences... Best bet is to goto the settings and get a signal reading when there is bad whether. If there is a 'BER' bar or figure, that should be as close to 0 as possible..
    Another way you could check is to find a FTA channel on the same transponder and see whether there is a picture and if there is, look out for pixelations...

    No signal is dish, cable , LNB etc, scrambled means you are for what ever reason not receiving a signal from your CS host. This could be your ISP or a crappy server

    hi everyone im near bolton can i get 28.2/13e/19.2. if i change my dish from s** minidish 45cm to a 60cm dish but has to be fixed with multi lnbs {got boring neighbours and dont want to upset them}
