PCR2.1 dealer updated software or not by dealers log

Hi. My friend has a problem with golf 6 1,6Tdi PCR1,6 that cold engine is not running smooth. He went to dealer and asked to check injectors. When he took car he was said that they did software update and injectors adaptation. But strange thing is that car that was tuned is still tuned. As i work with mostly opels, if you update software, car should be stock. They also sent log from works. Can someone check if it was realy updated? Car has same simptoms after all and bigger consumptions
