    1. (XU) 7 stands for 1.8 litre engine

    2. The ECU Sagem S2000 in year 1998, it has not yet born !

    3. PSA has never produced 8-cylinder engine (if yes, they could be in just after world war II era !). And by any layout of 8-cylinder engine, do you think it can be fitted transverely in 405 bonnet ?, or you meant 8 valve ?

    Sorry i mean 8 valve
I looked more closely and see engine is produced in 1998.
But there's no doubt about the Xu7 engine.

I've checked with autodata and sedre (peugeot official doc source) and found no model fitted with S2000. I don't know where you located, but just know that in middle-east they keep producing 405 till now or recently (?), that they might adopt this newer ECU in. But I have no info!

What did you find the problem, heater driver or sensor part? and to which sensor, up or down stream ? Better if you know the fault codes

Presume that you knew the ECU pinout for the problem sensor, are you sure that if I provide you the connection routing back to inside the PCB then you can manage to repair. You knew that the PCB is fully potted with thick rubber !

Oxygen sensor values in Fault diagnostic device GSCAN2.
I want to know that this problem is solved with the program eprom or Or this problem has nothing to do with the program eprom.

You want to repair or replace ? Understand that you have a new used one in hand so suggest to replace.
Two ways to go with, cloning eeprom and by virgin eeprom and use PP2000 to adapt the ECU to the car. Anyway, I'm not sure that is possible or how to do exactly on this old odd car !

btw, as I don't see you doing some thanks so you should help yourself digging for the needed info!
