So, I guess its a to complicated problem to solve...
Is it possible to get the IMMO off in this files? So I get the car running?
I would appreciate it if somebody could point me in the right direction.
Hi everybody,
I'am stuck here with a BMW X5 E53 with a water damaged DME/ECU.
The car did start but not running good caused by several errors from the damaged ecu.
So I managed to get the complete flash off the 29F400 and the 93C86, flashed them in another used ECU from the same type (5WK00012),
and resync in ISTA-P.
After that the DME and the EWS lit up green, so everything looked alright.
The car did crank but not start, and after that the EWS is stil green in ISTA but the DME not, in fault memory there is now "EWS tampering and DME not match".
Try the whole thing over again but the same happened.
Then I decided to try the old damaged computer but same thing...
SO my question is, what am I doing wrong?
The flash from the 29F400 ori DME, the EWS, and the 93C86 from the DME is included in this post.
Hope that you can help me out.

I already tryed that several times, with ISTA and Tool32.
At first it look like all is well, DME and EWS synchronised, but after a start the same error keeps coming back : EWS tampering and DME not match.
I'am really start to think IMMO OFF is the fastest solution, so if there is anybody who can do that with the ori files I already uploaded, I would be very greatfull!
And again, immo off - castration of the car. Let's do it right. If you change the MS-43 block, you should know that the permanent Isn is in flash and you need to rewrite or rewrite the flash in the new block. If you want to use the new block without changing the flash, then you will need to transfer the new permanent ISN in EWS3. And most importantly, the variable part of the ISN is used in this EWS and it must be reset before synchronization. Here you have a new dump of your EWS to synchronize with the old flash where ISN >CAAF. Good luck

Thanks very much mate, I will give it a go later on today, and let you know if it works.
Yessss, car is running again, your solution works like a charm !
Lets tell what i did, so others can use this info too :
I flashed the EWS with the dump provided by Urametz.
I take another MS43 ( same model and version, flashed the 29F400 with the data I earlier get from the defective MS 43.
Flashed the 93C86 in the new MS43 with the data I get from the defective MS43.
Sync the MS43 and EWS in ISTA.
Hope it can helpe someone else too..
