HardCut RevLimiter (PopCorn) EDC16

Hello guys!
Trying to do the HardCut rev limiter on EDC16C34 (Focus 1.6 TDCI 90 HP SW 1037382741)
Modified the TL Map in the way:
4000 NORMAL
4010 0 torque
5100 0
5200 0

The revs are now limited to 4000 but there is no sound. Straight pipe from turbo. What do i miss?
I think it has something to do with the DURATION map, but i'm unable to find it.

Explanation is even better then the modified file, but file would be also great!

change 4010 to 4001 and try it

Try this one. It's between 4000-4002rpm. You can mod gap bigger if you need for the sound.

One question, I was trying to find the SVRL byte using the VAG method (string ends with 32), but couldn’t. Which method you used to find it?

I found it using Damos, but not sure it will work same as Opel or VAG

Ok, it worked, but I was doing it totally wrong (changing only one map). 4002 is a little too fast so I changed it to 4010 and will check the result now. Will post a video. Can you tell me which maps is those you changed? Looks like gear dependent limiters or duration, but can’t understand because I lack the experience. Or may be you can share a damos?

4010 is also a little too fast, will try 4020... will play with the sound and post the end product)

So, after playing for a while i stopped at 4025. Perfect job, mancioks, worked great! Unfortunately there is no pops, but I guess after fitting the bigger exhaust it will work whole lot better(or maybe we can achieve better result on that exhast?). Car is waiting for big turbo upgrade, so I will refresh the topic after that is done together with big exhaust.

Do you have any idea how the launch control can be done at this ECU? Is it even possible?

00050 05300 - SVRL in every VAG EDC16uXX ecu.... easy to find. look for it in 16bit HiLO

Nice that is working. These maps ar Nm to IQ Why you not tried SVRL version i sent? If it works, sound should be better
