    ive not had the issue , walked away when warned its an affected unit by tester , truecode warn of 3 definate affected units and one possible , smart pro warn of 2 affected units , when the check the unit they warn you if affected and advise you dont proceed .

    update on this Rogue ,
    i am swapping modules from a running car :
    ECM
    BCM
    Radio
    Airbag
    Cluster
    ignition coil
    Ikey
    all from a running car , into my RIP car , still the same fault in Engine : P161f immobiliser
    car cranks no start, security light solid on dash


    the donor car still runs ok
    The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.

    Try swapping fuse box that is located next to left front fender...I take it you swap the key transponder already.

    the fun update on this Rogue what we swapped so far

    ECM
    BCM
    Radio
    Airbag
    Cluster
    ignition coil
    left side fuse box
    near battery fuse box

    Ikey
    i m out of ideas to swap module
    are there any module that is directly connected to starting and that i didnt list it ?
    PS: if i return the items i listed to the donor car, it starts normaly
    PS: on the dead car when i m trying clear faults in engine ecu , i get message this ecu is not supported and erase fail, however i can perform erase on the donor car and it works great.
    there must be something that is killing a specific data communication in the ecu
