Try to put 12v on module and lift reset and connect directly.
just one BCM what i tested maybe the JTAG port is locked on yours. It could be locked in the core bootloader or the secondary bootlader. Unfortunately it just an sw flag easy to change. Or damaging. Like the core loader config is empty just point to flash loader. In this case when the mcu is starting the core loader just passing the thread to the flashloader. The flashloader running the low level hw inits like JTAG, GPIO, CAN..whatever and the high leves stuffs too. Except when the flashloader is damaged or erased the thread is stopping and nothing happens.
One thing if you don't hate this stuff already. If the donor Nissan is still available can you read the BSM sw version with diag?
thx
Sir, are you classified as human? Negative, I am a meat popsicle
The thanks button is HERE looks like this --->>> THANKS
Out of curiosity did you test modules from non working car in the working car?
Maybe it was a coincidence that some wiring broke...
to my unfortunate luck when we didnt bring the donor car yet , we had 4 keys in our stock we renewed them using MK3 and we tried to reprogram them on original car it didnt take them , so i think the renewing is bad a file for this remote , and dealer doesnt have stock of this key anymore

What other Nissan vehicles suffer from this? Just rogues? assfour also mentioned fusions, can those go wacky when adding a key as well? Of course Land Rover should be handled with caution 2012 and newer I believe.
with regards nissan it also affects xtrail and qashqai j11 models
Nissan Rogue = Renault Dasher (BCM cost About $245.00 us ) they come Brain dead 38 files get uploaded Acording to the vin. My never took the key just died. Dealer had no clue on a fix, wanted to charge me 3K. 2 new keys and a bcm ecu replacement, did the job. I have not heard of these happening to the infinity line.

Update on this Rogue :
Received today 2 OEM Keys and programmed them to the car, the BCM takes them as normal the light flashes 5 times and all ok , when closing procedure and went to start ignition , back to square 1 , ignition ON ok , Security Light solid on , crancks no start
DTC are :
DTC in ECU is , p161f : immobiliser
DTC in BCM is B2192: ID DISCORD BCM-ECM
i think as a member said before we need BCM ECM initialize or a New BCM

this looks like the bcm issue on these later bcms , as if stuck in a loop and wont properly close down programming , ive read on other sites where exact same issue occurs on qashqai j11 , acts as if coded in fine everything normal but non start , most sent to dealer to fix with new bcm , dealer aware of issue as im told sent out a technical service bulliten on the issue
