    Default EDC16 R/W eeprom via obd

    Hallo

    How i can read/write vag edc16 eeprom via obd?
    I have

    vag k can 1.4 commander
    vag k can 3.6 commander
    carprog clone with A1 adapter

    vag can pro (VCP)

    None of these devices will read eeproms from EDC16.
    carprog with A1 + adapter could do it.
    VCP can read and write FLASH , FRF and SGO files, but not eeprom.

    FVDI 2014 -> EDC16 OBD R&W -> do it Perfect -> cost 100€

    if I modified eeprom,I needed checksum for 95320 eeprom?

    Best way use BDM or unsolder eeprom

    That's the best way is you don't have any tools...

    If you get in trouble with writing, what you gonna do? Desolder the eeprom and try to write it in programmer..... Right?

    FVDI clone really sucks, I ran in a huge problem on a BMW E60 after I used it, wich I luckely could solve with other tools I have.
    It messed up the ECU and some other modules.

    Better don't buy...

    Sinds then I only buy original tools, bloody expensive, but better then mess up a customers car.

    FVDI not 100% good but for this money work..me info from other forum...
