Vag Eeprom Programmer with Vcds cable ?

Hello there,

I need to use the Vag Eeprom programmer tool, but i dont have the interface for it. Is it possible to use this tool with VCDS, or ELM327... similar stuff?

Hi,

you need simple k-line adapter for this software. Maybe it wil work with VCDS in "dumb mode", if available...

Vag eeprom 1.19g works with:
-vag kkl
-vag k can commander
-BMW Inpa K D Can (I did not check)
Someone wrote that vcd$ would work after changing the drivers with the virtual com port. I tried but it did not work. Here you have a link to the drivers.

I have original VCDS and original VCP but with both its not working :-(
I try the drivers also but still no connection with vehicle..

I have the same on the vcd$ cable. But I have both vag kkl and vag k can commander. Just buy the cable vag kkl or vag k can commaner 1.4 / 2.5 (on FTDI controllers). It costs 11-15 dollars.
